We had no intent of buying another home when we decided to enjoy the Florida weather for the winter of 2020/2021. Our plans were to rent a small condo in Nokomis as we never really spent much time on the Gulf. We thought we'd travel thru Florida and perhaps years down the road, we might settle for another place to call home. Venice grabbed our hearts. We strolled thru the Farmer's Market one Saturday in January and noticed the MSC office. The only reason that we stopped in was that we noticed Micheal Saunders's reality signs everywhere! We needed a booklet as we had no idea about the market, the area, prices, etc.. I believe the only person in the office that afternoon was Mr. Peter Mann. Peter has an amazing ability to listen. In minutes, he knew exactly what my wife and I required in yet another house. In fact, I remember him saying specific communities that he would be interested in if he were purchasing a home and one of those suggestions is where we were drawn to: Sawgrass! Peter is persistent, always available and extremely knowledgeable. He never quits. He loves his job and, more importantly, the people he meets along the way. Not only do we have a beautiful Florida home because of Peter, but my wife Susan and I have forever friends with Peter and Terry Mann.

Peter was tasked with helping myself and my brother sell our parent's dated family home in Mote Ranch. To make it even more challenging, I reside in Connecticut and my brother was a first-time home seller. We were both on the deed and requested Peter keep us each in the loop equally.From the get-go, Peter, stepped up and kept us both apprised of the incoming offers, the status of the transaction once an offer was accepted, and ultimately the closing process all in a very timely and professional manner. We are grateful and appreciative of Peter’s knowledge and attention to detail. And who knows? We may require Peter’s, and the Michael Saunders team, assistance regarding another real estate transaction in the near future. We would certainly welcome the opportunity.

I can highly recommend Max for his knowledge, work ethic, and professionalism as a realtor. After approaching several Florida-based realtors - none of which were to my required standard - I had the pleasure of crossing paths with Max, who proved to be many levels above the rest. He turned out to be the most valuable asset I could have asked for during my home purchase in Sarasota - excellent communication and response times were vital, and completely appreciated while I was in every time zone imaginable for work. Most importantly, the deal was done efficiently and successfully. For my next Sarasota/Venice-area purchase, I will surely reach out to Max again.

Max and Peter Mann are simply the best! They give you everything you could want in a real estate agent. They’re tireless, savvy, professional and resourceful. In addition, they are gracious and totally unflappable under any circumstances. I was closing on a house when Hurricane Ian hit. Despite being affected themselves and facing all manner of challenging situations with other clients, they managed to give the same great service they always do. Max and Peter went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I got the best possible deal and closed on time. And they’re still helping with the transition, even though they’ have no remaining obligations to me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Max handled my purchase, which was the most unconventional transaction you could imagine. Through all the ups and downs he managed to maintain a professional upbeat attitude. Unless you part of what we dealt with, there really is no way i can explain how much I appreciated that Max was there when i reached out every time. I can not say enough about lucky I feel to have found Max. As a first time home buyer, the home buying process was confusing and a lot to navigate. Max took the time to guide me through this several-month long process. What meant the most was that I could tell he was not just trying to sell me a house and move on to the next deal. He truly acted as a partner in my process to find me the perfect home that met my specific requirements. My best interests were looked out for. He pointed out red flags on certain properties that I would have ignored. I absolutely would have made a poor investment on other properties if he hadn't pointed certain things out. We went under contract on two different homes. He saved me thousands of dollars by recommending an independent sewer inspection prior to the main inspection. Here we found major issues as early in the inspection process as possible and for as little money down as possible. This would have been a $100k+ issue down the road. The inspector even said how many agents wouldn't have known to do this and we couldn't have caught this at a better time. We looked for a while, but at no point did I feel rushed. He accommodated my schedule and would show me houses on early mornings throughout the week and weekends. When we finally found the right house, Max went above and beyond. He worked through the late hours of Friday and Saturday nights while he was on vacation to make sure my offer was the most competitive. Then he walked me through every step of the inspection process.
